Solomon Mine Extension

Powerlines Plus was engaged by FMG for two separate work packages at the Solomon and Cloudbreak Mine Sites in Western Australia.

The scope of work for Solomon consisted of the requirements for all labour, materials, plant, equipment and necessary services for the design, manufacture, supply, assembly and installation of a 33kV distribution line from the existing Substation 030 at the Kings Valley Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) to Kangi Camp at Fortescue Solomon Mine Site.

The scope of works at Cloudbreak consisted of the design, manufacture, supply, assembly and installation of a 22kV distribution line from the existing Switchroom 411 (SR411), located at the Cloudbreak Ore Processing Facility (OPF) to Pole 45 located at the tail end of a soon to-be installed conveyor belt (CV005) located approximately 5 km west of the OPF.
