Nammuldi Below Water Table

The Rio Tinto (RTIO) $2 billion dollar Nammuldi Below Water Table Project is located approximately 60 km north-west of Tom Price within the West Pilbara region of Western Australia. Nammuldi annual iron ore production target was 16 Mtpa of Saleable Ore Product (SOP).

Powerlines Plus was engaged by Pilbara EPCM on behalf of Rio Tinto in a design and construct role for the distribution electrical infrastructure package.

The package included more than 60 km of both overhead and underground power lines consisting of single circuit and twin circuit configurations.
